The mission of My New Red Shoes is to help homeless children look and feel confident as they start the school year, while raising awareness about homeless families. To achieve this goal, My New Red Shoes provides homeless children with brand new clothing and shoes.  My New Red Shoes also rallies youth and adults around this effort through volunteer and educational opportunities for individuals, families, schools, corporations and community groups. Meals on Wheels of San Francisco

Nourishing the Whole Person. Meals On Wheels of San Francisco exists to alleviate the food insecurity and loneliness experienced by seniors who want to stay in their own homes yet cannot shop or prepare meals for themselves. The agency’s mission of delivering nutritious balanced meals to isolated homebound seniors in San Francisco has remained the same since its founding in 1970. For 40 years, MOWSF has set the standard for alleviating the financial and emotional costs of premature and/or inappropriate institutionalization of seniors, providing meal deliveries, daily human contact and a variety of supportive services. MOWSF is the only home-delivered meal program in San Francisco that provides two home-delivered meals a day and the only organization that delivers therapeutic meals citywide.
