Our Process

In the first Iteratti™ collection, each piece is completely unique. Upon arrival, each fur garment is inspected and cataloged, collecting any historical facts. Only the best quality pieces are even considered for further refinement. Pieces that are rejected are placed in a separate area, and portions of them are used to create other items. Scraps and unusable pieces are donated to organizations such as animal shelters, which use them to line cages of animals they are rehabilitating.

Each hand-selected piece is then inspected, authenticated and cleaned, ensuring the materials are vintage, and that they contain no species that are protected or illegal.

Each piece then begins the process of being relined, refined and restyled in preparation for her next iteration – becoming an Iteratti design. Each piece is numbered and marked to ensure authenticity. Every Iteratti design comes with this certificate of authenticity, as well as a brief history of the garment, as collected by our historian and researcher. We will tell you a little bit about what your piece has seen and where she was before she entered your closet – it will be your job to create a new story for her as part of your wardrobe!

Iteratti offers customers a unique opportunity to hand-select an Iteratti piece from the collection at private sales and trunk shows, in cities throughout the United States. At these events, hostesses or shop owners open their homes or boutiques so that guests can experience these gorgeous, glamorous pieces up close – and take one home the same night! You will walk away from the experience knowing that you have invested in the highest quality, most responsible and most unique piece available to add to your wardrobe – and that you have selected something will enjoy for many, many years to come.
